Christina Ross, PhD, is a Board-Certified Polarity Practitioner (BCPP), Registered Polarity Educator (RPE), and Certified Energy Medicine Practitioner (CEMP), who has earned bachelor’s degrees in both psychology and physics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a PhD in Energy Medicine from Akamai University.

She has a research appointment to the Wake Forest School of Medicine’s Institute for Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM), through the Wake Forest Center for Integrative Medicine (WFCIM). Her dissertation involved investigating the therapeutic effects of low-frequency pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) on inflammation/immune function and pain biomarkers.

She currently works as a biophysicist at the Wake Forest School of Medicine, studying the effects of low-frequency PEMF on cell communication and signal transduction. Specifically, she investigates the therapeutic effects of PEMF on adult stem cells to provide innovative therapies for the treatment of neuroinflammation and nerve regeneration in tissue injury and disease. She has presented her research findings at international conferences on biophysics and energy medicine.

She has published articles in internationally known medical journals: Journal of Inflammation Research, Stem Cell Research, Electromagnetic Biology and Medicine, Wound Repair and Regeneration, Journal of Science and Applications in Biomedicine, Organogenesis, Biomaterials, World Journal of Gastroenterology, Expert Opinion on Biological Therapies, Digestive and Liver Disease, Integrative Medical Insights, Biotechnology Progress, Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine, and JSM Biotechnology & Biomedical Engineering. 

She authored a book chapter titled, “Energy Medicine” for the book Alternative Medicine, and wrote a book on Energy Medicine titled, Etiology: How to Detect Disease in your Energy Field Before It Manifests in your Body. For her book she received the award for “Outstanding achievement for advanced theory and practice in Energy Medicine” from Energy Medicine Partnerships at the Joint Congress in 2014.

In 2017 she received the “Women of Distinction Award for Outstanding Achievement in Science and Business” from Marquis Who’s Who in America, becoming the North Carolina national representative. In 2018 she received the Women of Distinction Award from Marquis Who’s Who in the World, for “Outstanding Achievement in Science and Business”, comprised of the top 3% of women professionals in the world.

Heather Principe, BCPP
A Journeywoman of the old ways Heather Principe is dedicated to teaching within the paradigm of the Four Directions and the Five Elements. Her work weaves understandings of Modern Physics
within the fabric of the most ancient knowings and teachings.

Heather is founder of  The Yoga and Polarity Center  in New York, a center for teaching Yoga,
Subtle Energy Healing Arts including Polarity, Pranic Healing, and Energetic Listening Skills for Bodyworkers.

​Heather has served on the Boards of the American Polarity Therapy Association, The International Polarity Education Alliance and as an adjunct educator at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, The New Seminary, The Interational Seminary for Interfaith Studies, The Sivananda Organization and runs retreats worldwide in all forms of Energetic Healing.

Heather has co-authored “Ahimsa in Communication” , a guide for students of Hermetic Relationship Studies, and is currently working on a project to enhance the understanding of the teachings of Hermetics as extrapolated into the teachings and understandings found in Rig Veda.
