As a member of the Board of the American Polarity Therapy Association, I pledge to act in the best interest of those in whose name the association does business with, including our clients, constituents, and community members. I will keep confidential any information that is meant to be so. I understand that my role is to act as part of a collective decision-making body and to work collaboratively towards shared decisions. I carry the authority of the Board only within the context of the full board or with the express authority of the full board. My efforts are made with the intent of furthering the mission of the association, not my personal needs or goals. The governance role is not to be used for financial gain or personal advantage by me or my family, friends, or associates. My responsibility is to support the needs, goals, and vision of the association and the people for whom it exists.
