BOARD CERTIFIED POLARITY PRACTITIONER: If you are interested in independent, professional polarity practice, APTA strongly recommends and solely endorses the BCPP certification. To learn more about the certification process, click here.

APPROVED TRAINING PROGRAMS: Are you an entrepreneur at heart and would you like to carry the practice of polarity therapy forward by operating your own school? Once you have completed your RPE, you may submit a curriculum to the Director of Education and apply to have your training approved. Once approved, you become an Approved Training Manager (ATM). For more information on the requirements for an approved training program, please contact Nancy Lehto, our Director of Education via email by clicking here.

APTA is an association and not a licensing body.  APTA does not make any claim as to the value of an RPP or BCPP designation or whether such designations qualify an individual to practice polarity therapy in any jurisdiction.  The RPP and BCPP designations are issued by APTA to recognize the level of training that a course provides or to indicate that a person passed the BCPP exam.  Ultimately, state and local jurisdictions and/or regulatory bodies control licensing and scope of practice rules.  In many regions, the practice of polarity therapy is unregulated or unlicensed; however, laws vary by jurisdiction.  Accordingly, any questions as to what education or credentials are required to practice polarity therapy should be directed to the state or local government where you intend to practice.
