As a National Organization that sets standards of practice and ethics for the practice of Polarity Therapy, our desire is to help our members recognize the importance and benefits of membership and of becoming Board Certified Polarity Practitioners (BCPPs).

APTA membership provides those studying and working, in the field of Polarity Therapy, the opportunity to work together, cross pollinate ideas, and share challenges and practices around the country and internationally. By pooling resources through membership, APTA is able to maintain standards of practice, market Polarity Therapy, stay abreast of legislative issues, and speak as a collective voice to regulators, public officials, researchers, and funders.

APTA Membership Benefits include:

-obtaining exclusive insights and information about Polarity Therapy

-being listed on the APTA website along with your Certiification or level of training

-participation in peer group discussions

-invitations to Polarity Therapy conferences and events

-awareness of new Polarity Therapy products

-discounted application fee for the BCPP exam

-discounted BCPP recertification

-eligibility for discounted liability insurance

-eligibility for other discounts obtained by APTA for car rentals and merchandise

There are several levels of membership, with dues paid annually.

The BCPP is APTA’s nationally accredited practitioner certification that:

-Indicates a level of excellence that an individual has gone above and beyond the required training to become Board Certified

-Is an accredited certification that is scrutinized by a National Accrediting Agency for soundness on a recurring basis

-Will serve as the catalyst for licensing as Polarity Practitioners in the future

APTA solely endorses the BCPP as conferring any right to practice Polarity Therapy as an independent discipline (that is, without a current license in another discipline).

BCPPs must recertify every other year, which requires a recertification fee and completion of continuing education credits.

Your membership is what allows APTA to move forward as an organization, and strive to raise awareness of Polarity Therapy. As the saying goes, “we can do more together.” APTA’s mission is to create an interactive community and to expand the awareness of Polarity Therapy worldwide.

If you have not renewed your membership, please do so and encourage your colleagues to do the same!

If you have any questions about membership or the BCPP Certification, please do not hesitate to contact the office.
