Each new year brings many resolutions! Some are the same as previous years; lose weight, get in shape, etc. Some are new and accomplishable, but how many are really specific, and business related? What if you made a goal to obtain 5 new clients in 2019? How would that impact your business, as well as your self-esteem?
Did you know that as part of your APTA annual membership fees, your profile appears on our public membership directory? And did you also know that we get inquiries weekly from people looking for Practitioners and Polarity Schools?
With this being said, how does your profile measure up? If a potential client is looking at this directory, will they be drawn to your profile or will they find a blank white card staring them in the face?
Taking the time to update your profile shows that you are interested in obtaining new clients; it also shows that you care about the service you are providing.
So, as we enter the new year, we encourage you to take a few moments as you are sipping your eggnog or watching that Hallmark movie to make your profile stand out. You can add a photo, coupon, business card, social media links and even a description of your services.
Let 2019 be the year that you shine! Visit the APTA website and login with the email address you have on file with APTA. If you have forgotten your password, you can request one and a temporary password will be emailed to you. Once you log in, click on manage/renew and select the individual tabs to make updates. If you have trouble, the office can also assist you.
Our goal is to have 75% of profiles updated by the end of January! Are you in? Let’s get to work!
