The definition of marketing as set forth by the American Marketing Association is as follows:

“Marketing is the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large.”

What does that mean for us? It means the next step in our evolution as an organization. There are many things we are implementing to make our marketing strategy a reality, and you, dear reader, are an important part of that process.

For example, we are putting together a membership task force to explore what is important to members, what they would like to see more of in terms of member benefit, reaching out to secure those benefits that are important to you, as well as creating interest to expand our current membership. Does that sound interesting?

Or how about creating a brochure to help explain and promote Polarity Therapy to be used as a tool for member practitioners and schools to educate and inspire potential clients, students, and curiosity seekers? How would you like to be a part of that?

Here’s an idea; create a social media platform where students and practitioners can exchange information and get feedback on sessions, answer questions, refresh memories around protocols, and share knowledge. It’s in the works and coming your way. All you need do is participate on whatever level you are inspired to.

Blogging, writing articles for trade publications, creating artwork, making YouTube videos, checking out companies that have groovy products we all might like, creating relationships, heading up a grant / research team, and whatever great ideas you can think of to contribute to the whole. When all of us participate, we all benefit as individuals and as an organization. That’s why I got involved. It takes a village, however – a few can’t do it alone. If anything you just read sounds interesting to you, and matches your skill set inspires you to want to contribute, please email me at director.bordelon@polaritytherapy.org.
